Leonardo Barboza, 29, was born and raised in São Paulo.He began his journey as a DJ in 2015, exploring the Tribal House genre in big clubs in São Paulo at the time, such as Flexx Club and The Week.In 2016 he started a Music Production course at Anhembi Morumbi University, where he expanded his knowledge of electronic music, mastering software such as Ableton Live and leaving his creativity free to experiment with new textures, harmonies and progressive rhythms. With this, he started the BRZ project, where he explores the main strands of Techno and House.
Influences
Along with the creation of this project came the insight to idealize a collective where his art and creativity could unite other people with the same ideologies.And so Dashboard was born!
Career
In 2021, his productions gained momentum when he released his first track FEARS on V.A. BERKANA for Under Division Records, with the support of Amelie Lens for EXHALE/Belgium. And his first E.P. called CYCLES on the same label with an audiovisual release by HATE Collective.He is currently continuing his musical research, returning to his origins in House Music.
