On Thursday, May 11, Daft Punk will unveil an unreleased song titled “Infinity Repeating” at Paris’ Pompidou Center. This track will be featured on the duo’s 10th-anniversary reissue of their album “Random Access Memories,” set to be released the following day. “Infinity Repeating” was originally recorded during the making of “Random Access Memories” and includes vocals by Julian Casablancas, who also appeared on the album’s hit track “Instant Crush.”

The Pompidou Center’s website outlines three ways for visitors to experience “Infinity Repeating” at the museum. The song will be played on a sound system consisting of 30 speakers to provide an ultra-high fidelity listening experience. Additionally, the center will offer a cinematic experience accompanying the song and a collective experience featuring a video debut on the giant screen at the Pompidou Center Forum. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Pompidou Center holds significance in Daft Punk’s history as it was the location where Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo attended their first rave as teenagers back in 1992.

Daft Punk officially disbanded in February 2021, announcing their separation through an eight-minute visual titled “Epilogue,” extracted from their 2006 film “Electroma.” Last year, they reissued their influential debut album, “Homework.”

Thomas Bangalter recently released a new solo album titled “Mythologies,” featuring compositions from his first independent orchestral work.
